The Rise of Preventable Diseases
Non-communicable diseases, such as hypertension, obesity, and diabetes, are a growing public health threat in sub-Saharan Africa. The devastating impact of these cardiometabolic diseases is largely preventable. We address this by bringing essential screenings and treatments directly to the people, transforming communities by saving lives and improving the overall quality of life.
The Waste of Valuable Resources
In Western countries, millions of dollars’ worth of unused medical supplies are discarded annually due to strict hospital policies. These supplies, which are still safe and effective, can be a lifeline for communities in need. We redirect these valuable resources to relieve the burden on donor hospitals and provide essential health services to those who would otherwise go without.
